Iceland Pure Sardine-Anchovy oil is a 60/40 blend of oils from wild-caught sardines and anchovies. This addition to the Iceland Pure line of high-quality oils not only offers superior benefits from the high levels of Omega 3 fatty acids, but it also provides a taste alternative to the Salmon and Cod Liver oils that are so frequently fed to dogs and cats. Just as you would get tired of having the same tastes day after day, our companion animals get tired of the same supplement on their foods month after month. Our Sardine and Anchovy oil gives you an opportunity to mix up the flavors. And talk about great flavors - this newest addition is so gourmet that you’ll want to add some salt and pepper, a nice balsamic vinegar and dip bread into it for yourself! And... like all of our oils, this fabulous new product is so very lightly scented, that you won’t feel like you are being run out of the home by your pet’s breath or that fishy smell emanating from the kitchen. Our latest addition comes from 100% wild-caught Sardines and Anchovies, which are plentiful throughout the world. We use 60% North Atlantic Sardines and 40% Chilean Anchovies. As always, our oils are screened for mercury and other toxins, and tested by an independent third party for guaranteed analysis. This oil has more potency without the smell and even though humans can barely smell the salmon, dogs and cats go crazy for it. Iceland Pure added more filtration to take out the fishy smell and their oils are Human Pharmaceutical Grade.

The green brushed aluminum bottle is not just another cool bottle! Plastics can contaminate oils as evidenced by the plastic bottles of oil you see caving in on themselves. We at Iceland Pure are concerned about your pet's health, so we housed our Pure Icelandic oils in brushed aluminum bottles with a micro-thin epoxy coating. This not only prevents cross contamination with the container, but it also prevents any light degradation that may occur in white or clear containers. They're recyclable, too! Bottles include handy pumps for accurate dispensing.

The important EPA and DHA Omega-3 essential fatty acids are plentiful in fish oils. Unlike plant-based Omega-3 supplements (such as flax seed), fish oil is readily processed by the digestive system, resulting in more available essential fatty acids per serving. A daily supplement of fish oil is a must for any dog or cat with skin or coat issues, including those caused by allergies - but it will also make a noticeable improvement in the coat of any animal, young or old.
